What is Clinical EFT?!

Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), often called “tapping,” is an evidence-informed mind-body approach that combines elements of cognitive therapy, exposure therapy, and acupressure. It involves gently tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on thoughts, emotions, memories, or physical sensations that may be causing distress.

The goal of Clinical EFT is to help regulate the nervous system, reduce emotional intensity, and support healthier patterns of thinking and responding. Many people use EFT to work with stress, anxiety, trauma, limiting beliefs, chronic pain, grief, performance blocks, and emotional overwhelm.

NO. Clinical EFT is NOT a psychotherapeutic (nor medical) intervention. It is unlike traditional talk therapy, in that it engages the mind and body, as well as the energy meridians. By pairing rhythmic tapping and mild exposure, the process may help the brain and body feel safer, calmer and more grounded.

Sessions are gentle and highly individualized, a collaborative client led and practitioner guided experience. Sessions will focus around a goal set during the Discovery Session.
This is not a process of reliving painful experiences but instead to expose yourself enough to those experiences through a variety of techniques. THEN to reduce the nervous system dysregulation and limbic center overstimulation.

This is a package of six Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Sessions that will occur over the course of anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. You can determine the timing as it aligns for you. If a payment plan is selected they will be monthly and a debit card is required.
This is a great option for those seeking to give themselves the space to explore the depth of a challenge they are currently facing. Often historical experiences and patterns come to light and are able to be cleared away to support a solid foundation for ongoing impact from the Clinical EFT work.
